ZAnPon, born in Osaka in 1981, after he graduated the university, held the solo and group exhibitions here and abroad. And he collaborates the corporate design; Sony and UNIQLO etc.
His works look like a printed one or computer imaging, but actually he draws freehand directly with ball point pen, and then colors with colored pencils minutely. His rhythmical lines are free, and there are various characters and patterns in his works. His gentle art world is infinite.
The fascinations of his works are the form and the brilliant colors.
After he finished the sketch by ballpoint pen, he feels that it’s already decided that which color he should use from more than 128 colors. He draws without a certain image, just sensuously. So, for him, there is a succession of surprises from the process of the production.
And his works admit of many interpretations.
Recently, he participate the art fairs in home and abroad, he gains the popularity among collectors. This exhibition is the first solo exhibition in four years. We hope that you enjoy his imaged scenery.

So, I want to continue to draw the impression which become an opportunity to take care of someone for even a moment,to tender toward someone as much as possible.

この度イムラアートギャラリーではZAnPon Exhibitionを開催いたします。
1981年大阪生まれのZAnPonは、大学卒業後に国内と海外の展覧会を経て、SONYやユニクロといった様々な企業とコラボレーションをしてきました。
彼の作品は一見、印刷物かパソコンで処理をしたかのように見えますが、フリーハンドで下書きなしにボールペンで描かれ、色鉛筆で細密に色が施されています。紙の上でボールペンがリズミカルに自由に動き、画面には様々なキャラクターや模様が生まれ、やさしい世界が無限に広がっています。
彼の作品の魅力はフォルムと色の美しさです。
128色以上ある色鉛筆の中から色を選ぶ際、どこに何色を配色するかは、ボールペンによる下絵ができた時点でオートマティックに決まっているといいます。
感覚的な部分で描いていくので、作品の仕上がりのイメージを持たず、ペンが走るまま描き進め、制作途中で彼自身驚きの発見が多々あるといいます。見る側も自分の創造性を刺激され、自分専用にカスタマイズした解釈ができ、それぞれ違ったカタチで楽しんで見ることができます。
本展は4年ぶりとなる待望の新作個展です。エネルギー溢れる、彼の心風景である作品を是非ご高覧ください。
