This autumn, Imura Art Gallery is pleased to present "At the Foot of the Rainbow," the second solo exhibition by Amane Ishii.

Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1994, Amane graduated from the Department of Oil Painting at Kyoto City University of Arts in 2018. She completed her Master's degree in Painting at the same university in 2020, receiving the Mayor's Award upon graduation. Since then, she has been actively exhibiting her work in solo and group shows, primarily in Kyoto and Tokyo. Notable solo exhibitions include 「線のたより」(Kyoto, 2021),「warp」 (Tokyo, 2022), and 「いい天気」 (Ginza, 2023).

This exhibition presents new works that deepen the artist's long-standing exploration of light, memory, and the motif of paintings within paintings. These pieces gently capture overlapping layers of time and memory, creating a space filled with quiet reverberations that softly resonate with the viewer's emotions.
Shining a light on ambiguous images and fleeting experiences—things that seem to exist yet remain just out of reach—the exhibition invites viewers into a world where soft light, delicate colors, and subtle compositions gently touch the depths of the inner self.

今秋、イムラアートギャラリーでは2回目となる石井海音の個展「虹の麓」を開催いたします。

石井は1994年大阪府生まれ。2018年、京都市立芸術大学美術学部油画専攻卒業。2020年、同大学大学院修士課程絵画専攻を修了し、大学院市長賞を受賞。以降、京都や東京を拠点に個展・グループ展で精力的に発表。主な個展に「視線のたより」（2021年、京都）、「warp」（2022年、東京）、「いい天気」（2023年、銀座）などに参加。

彼女の作品は、幾重にも重ねられたイメージと繊細な構成によって、画面の奥に広がる空間と、心象風景のゆらぎを静かに浮かび上がらせます。

独特の感性と緻密な筆致は、現代社会の複雑な人間模様を背景に、日常の何気ない瞬間に潜む深い感情を鮮やかに描き出します。さらに、画中画やイメージの重なりを巧みに表現することで、視覚の境界を越えた独自の世界観を展開し、細部に宿るまなざしが、鑑賞者に新たな視点と気づきをもたらします。
